COVID-19 UPDATE

Cordant is open and continuing to test for the industries we serve

Our four laboratories and four pharmacies are currently open and running, and we have not had any confirmed cases of COVID-19. We may experience delays in turnaround times in the future, but today our lab services are running within a 24-72 hour turnaround time and our pharmacies are running without delays. We will continue to be proactive with our communications to our clients during this time.

It is our goal to be here to support our clients during this national state of an emergency and offer solutions to make sure you can still care for those who need it. We offer an in-home video observed oral fluid drug testing option that is perfect for telemed and we have pharmacies that can deliver treatment medications to patients’ homes. Steps we are taking to keep our team members and community safe

The well-being of our team members and our partners is very important to us, and I wanted to update you on the steps Cordant is taking to minimize the effects of COVID-19 on our operations.

Using the recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we are taking steps to:

BE READY

Did you know that Cordant has four laboratories located throughout the United States? The benefit of multiple labs is that if we are faced with closing a lab for some time, we can easily transfer samples to another facility. Our goals during this time are to keep our team and communities safe and to ensure we continue to process your specimens because we understand the importance of these results to those that you serve.

BE SAFE

We have sent communications to and will continue to educate our team on ways to prevent contracting COVID-19 and techniques to ensure they are not spreading germs within our facilities or while at a client’s organization.

  • Our employees who are not working in a laboratory, pharmacy or within clinics are now set up and working from home.
  • For those in a laboratory or pharmacy, we have added additional hand sanitizers, disinfectant wipes, soap dispensers, informative signs in all locations and a protocol to thoroughly clean work stations after each shift.
  • We have discontinued travel and visits from outside vendors to our facilities and are requiring team members who are sick to stay home.

BE SMART

Just like so many organizations, we are staying up-to-date on the latest reports and recommendations from states in which we are located and passing the applicable information to Cordant team members.

BE KIND

We are working to help our team members to be safe, adopt practical measures to stay safe and show empathy to all during this challenging time.
