Though the consequences of addiction are well-publicized, the solutions are not and people who want help may not know where to turn or how to access resources. Cordant Pharmacy Solutions™ is a managed medication-assisted treatment (MAT) pharmacy solution available for patients and providers in Portland, OR. Cordant delivers buprenorphine dispensed by Cordant’s pharmacy to patients in conjunction with their treatment session. For patients who receive long-acting injectable therapy medications, Vivitrol® can be delivered to the clinic for administration by a healthcare provider during patients’ scheduled visits. Medications are supervised by Cordant staff and are never stored in the clinic overnight.
A recent study showed that patients who use Cordant’s pharmacy program stayed in treatment twice as long as other patients, had fewer drug-related ER visits, and had fewer relapse events.
