Utilizing sweat as a drug testing solution has been around for decades, yet the mode of collecting and retaining the sweat has often been a challenge. Cordant’s solution provides existing skin patch technology that utilizes certified calibrator and quality control materials to gather drug usage data accurately and easily. The sweat patch can be worn up to 10 days, with a detection window 24-48 hours prior to patch application, up to about 24 hours prior to removal.

Sweat testing is ideal for situations requiring long-term observation. The tamper-resistant patch helps maintain integrity and supports accurate reporting.

1 Extended Detection Window

Sweat patches are wearable for 1-10 days; drug usage 24-48 hours days prior to the application of the patch all the way through up to 24 hours after the patch removal; all the data is stored in the patch during this timeframe. With its longer sampling period, the sweat patch provides greater insight into use patterns over time for treatment and recovery plans.

2 Tamper Resistant

Attempts to remove or alter the patch are clearly evident, ensuring that the results are accurate and from the initial agent. Common methods used to defeat urine drug testing are not effective with sweat patches.

3 Court-Approved Method

Commonly used in legal and probation settings.

4 Continuous Monitoring

As one patch works for up to 7-10 days of detection, the process may be more cost-effective for clients with respect to materials and less time-consuming to remain court-compliant for the participant compared to daily urine tests for the same breadth of data.

6 Non-Invasive Application

Sweat patches are easily applied to skin under clothing, with an absorbent pad and protective membrane for easy wear. This solution is more private than monitored urine collection and is less impactful on schedules.
